Make a memory to last several lifetimes! Straight out of the 1850’s this practice is a challenging one. Have your tintype portrait made, I have several cameras in use up to 120 years old! A Tintype Photo session is a very unique experience. I’m so happy to offer the Tintype (metal) & Ambrotype (glass) Service right here in Wainwright!

Standard Session - Digital

$329 plus tax

The perfect choice for family portraits, Grads, & Newborns. 40+ retouched digital files. Up to 5 people from the same immediate family. (+$25 per additional person or subject) Request a quote for larger groups or if travel is involved.

Mini Session - Digital

$195 plus tax

Just right for a handful of updated portraits. 15 retouched files included. Mini sessions are done on site - either in my studio or on my acreage for outdoors. Maximum 5 people, same immediate family.

Micro Session - Digital

$120 plus tax

Great for a fast in studio single subject shoot. 7 retouched digital photos. In studio only, one subject, 1-2 backdrops.

Photographer and owner of Portraits with Presence Photography for 18 years. In 2024 I also took on the adventure of wet plate collodion photography - handcrafting Tintypes & Ambrotypes with antique and vintage cameras. That adventure became known as Silver Rush Tintypes.

Embracing the beauty in both studio and outdoor settings, I create magic at my picturesque acreage near Wainwright, Alberta. I now have the option of some limited travel with ‘The Tintype Trailer’ for markets and events.
